Easy Keys Options
You can change a number of settings used to control Easy Keys using the "Options..." dialog. To open the options dialog right click on the Easy Keys Icon on the task bar and then choose the 'Options...' menu item.



To change a setting click on its name and its value will appear in the value editor at the bottom of the dialog box. Make changes to the value in that editor and when you are done click on the 'Update' button. When you finished making all the changes you would like to make click the 'Done' button at the very bottom.



Here is a list of all the settings and what each one controls...
  • Minimum log level - this is the log level that the application runs at. The order is "TRACE", "DEBUG", "INFO", "ERROR", "ALERT".
  • Log file name - the name and location of the log file
  • Directroy where modules are kept - the location where Easy Keys keeps helper files
  • Directory where data is kept - this is the location on your computer where all Easy Keys abbreviation files are kept.
  • Run at startup - "yes" if you want Easy Keys to start when the computer starts up, "no" if not.
  • Show title screen - if this is set to "yes" the title screen will be displayed when the application starts up.
  • Update URL - The URL the applicatio will check for new releases.
  • The last version updated to - The last version that was installed.
  • Automatically check for updates - if this is set to "yes" then the Easy Keys will automatically check for updates and notify you when new versions are available.
  • Is the application active when started - if this is set to "yes" then as soon as Easy Keys starts up it will start watching for abbreviations to be typed. If it set to "no" then it will wait for you to activate it.
  • Enable/Disable application hotkey - The key combination that when pressed will enable and disable text replacement.
  • Configure applicatio hotkey - The key combination that when pressed will pop up the abbreviation creation dialog.
