Welcome to the Easy Automation help system.

There are a number of places to get help in Easy Automation. This help system is the first one. It will walk you through a tutorial and help you automate your first task. Also, in Easy Automation most of the items on the sceen have popup help. Just hold your mouse over an item and it will tell you a little bit about itself.

The help system is divided into three sets of topics. There are the base topics for everyone. These topics will provide you with the basic information you need to run Easy Automation, and create simple scripts. Then comes the "Moderate Topics." These topics tell you how to create more complex scripts by changing the JavaScript code directly. This allows for more flexibility and more powerful scripts, but requires you to understand JavaScript programming. Finally, you get to the "Advanced Topics" those topics provide information on calling Easy Automation scripts from other applications and creating extension DLLs to expand what Easy Automation can do.

There are some features available to the registered version of Easy Automation that are not available in the free version. Those are listed under the Registered Version section of the index on the left.
