The Script Manager

The Script Manager shows all the scripts on your computer, and lets you control which ones are running. You can also edit the scripts, create short-cuts to run them, or remove them from your machine.

The screen will show a list of all the scripts currently on your computer. The first column shows the status of the script. It can be 'running', 'stopped', or 'disabled'. If a script is 'disabled' it will not run at start up even if it is set to do so. If you are using the registered version of Easy Automation then you will also have a 'Type' column. This column lets you know where the script is from. It can be a 'local' script which means it was created or installed directly on this machine or it can be a 'server' script which means it was pushed to this machine from a script server. The free version of Easy Automation only supports 'local' scripts.

If you select a script in the list then the bottom panel will show detailed information about the script. Once you select a script you can then edit it, delete it, run it (or stop it if it is already running), or create a shortcut on your desktop that will run that script directly. If the script is passworded you will be asked for the password before you are allowed to work on the script. The 'properties' button is used to change the properties of the script, like its name or description, without going into the full script editor.

If you would like to create a new script click on the 'Automate New Task' button. When you do this the Script Manager will launch the Script Editor, which you can then use to make a new script.
